The problem we keep finding
A firm sends client correspondence. Doing it takes a CRM to hold the contacts, a document tool to write the letter, a mail-out service to send it, and an image tool to make it look right. Four subscriptions, four logins, four renewal dates, and staff copying data between them by hand because none of the four was built to talk to the others.
Nobody chose that. It accumulated. Each tool was reasonable on the day it was bought, and the total is a monthly bill that rises with headcount and a workflow nobody would design on purpose.
The arithmetic
Per-seat software is priced to grow with you, which is excellent for the vendor. At forty staff on a typical set of business subscriptions, the annual figure is usually tens of thousands of dollars — and it goes up every time you hire, forever, whether or not the software got better.
A bespoke system is a capital cost and a maintenance fee. It does not care how many people log in. The crossover is normally in the second year, and after that the gap widens for as long as you keep using it.
We will do that calculation against your actual invoices before you commit to anything, and we will tell you if it does not stack up. Some stacks are genuinely cheaper left alone — the honest answer sometimes is that your accounting package is fine and you should keep it.

Fixed scope, fixed price, then a monthly fee to run and maintain it. You know both numbers before we start. We would rather quote a smaller first build that ships than a large one that becomes a project.
Your system runs on Australian infrastructure. Your data stays in the country, and the people responsible for it are in the same city as you.
You own what we build. If you want to take it elsewhere, you can — that commitment is in writing, because a company selling you an escape from software lock-in should not quietly become the next lock-in.
